32: i am thankful for food and clothing

- little people barn and silo- used little animals in silo- kids one by one could come and choose and animal and tell what food or drink we get from the animal.  Used food from play kitchen

- did same thing with clothing from animals

- used magnetic dress up clothes in a bag.  kids would come and pick out an item and we'd pretend to put it on (pretend to put on boots, etc.)

- used church thankful for food and clothing page to color

Lesson 31: I Am Thankful for my Home

 Attention activity-from the book (animals live in different types of homes):
- hide 3 pictures of a tree, land, and water
- hide pictures of animals that live in those places
Have the kids take turns first finding the first three then finding the animals that live there and place by the tree, land or water where the animal lives (used pictures from family finch creation game)

- Ideas for Fun to do:
rag- wash table
spoon- set table
toy- pick up toys
spray bottle- clean windows
baby doll- help watch
light bulb- turn off lights
trash bag- take out trash, throw away
